Ranil Rajapaksa Government has gazetted 22nd amendment to the constitution in order to make uncertainty regarding the presidential election in Sri Lanka.
The gazette is given below:
Issuing a statement Lawyers Collective comprising prominent legal professionals said that “The Lawyers Collective denounced the proposed Bill as an attempt to manipulate the electoral process and calls upon all democratic forces to oppose it.”
