Dr. Rohan Gunarathna’s new publication “Sri Lanka’s Easter Sunday Massacre: Lessons for the International Community” has given rise to different opinions on the Sri LAnka tweeter sphere. In his speech Gunarathan has said that ”No political conspiracy behind Easter Sunday attacks”.
Lawyer Hejaaz Hizbullah tweeted questioning an unseen video of the mastermind of the Easter Sunday attacks Saharan Hasheem to be shown at the book launch.
Saw this invite for a book launch. A book on the #EasterSundayAttacks. A highlight of the launch it is stated is a screening of a video of Zaharan, that has never been seen before.
How did two private publishers @SarasaviPublish & @penguinrandom get hold of that video? 1/2 pic.twitter.com/OwswCPT0B6

Rehan Jayawickrama, an opposition politician suggested that Rohan Gunarathna and Hejaaz Hizbullah could have live debate over the Easter Sunday attacks.
With utmost respect for Dr. @RohanGunaratna, his views and credentials are questionable, I kindly request @NewsfirstSL to host a debate between him and @hejaazh on the Easter Sunday attack.
I believe Hejaaz will accept the challenge. What say you, Dr.? #DebateRequest…
