President Rajapaksa has issued am extraordinary gazette declaring all services connected to the supply of electricity, the supply and distribution of fuel, and hospitals as essential services under Essential Services Act.
This gazette has been issued in the context of general peaceful uprising to take place on 9th July calling Rajapaksa to go home.
