Sri Lanka: ITAK, TELO and PLOTE to contest local government elections together

Issuing a joint statement Mavai Senathirajah  of ITAK  Hon. Selvam Adikkalanathan  of TELO and Hon. Dharmalingham Siddarththan  PLOTE, says that  they will contest upcoming local government election as alliance, under the name of  Illankai Tamil Arasu Kachchi (ITAK)

The Tamil National Alliance Constituent party leaders Hon. Mavai Senathirajah (ITAK),   Hon. Selvam Adikkalanathan (TELO) and Hon. Dharmalingham Siddarththan (PLOTE) met with members of Parliament and party representatives on 9^th of December 2017 and held discussion regard to the forthcoming local government elections and resolved all issues pertaining to the said election.

Nominations will be submitted in the name and the symbol (House) of the ITAK. A fervent appeal is made to the voters in the North and the East to wholeheartedly support the Tamil National Alliance contesting under the ITAK and the House symbol.
