Defence Secretary Gotabaya Rajapaksa says that the existing constitution is more than enough for the people to live unified.
He made this comment during an interview with Headlines Today, an Indian network.
“We are a sovereign nation, and we have a very good legal system and which has been left by the British. We have the capability of defeating a massive terrorist organization which most people thought that we can’’t do.”
“This is not the international community. This is some of people in the international community doing this. The existing constitution is more than enough for us to live together. I don’’t think there is any issue in that,” said the Defence Secretary.
