Deepanjalie Abeywardana of Ethics Eye received a threatening phone call from an anonymous person claiming to be a ‘senior journalist’ from a ‘prestigious newspaper ‘ on o1 June 2016.
This was following an event held yesterday (on the responsibility of journalists) at which Ethics Eye was featured.
It is most unfortunate and ironic that the first threatening phone call received by Verité Research in 2016 appears to have come from the media.
