Issuing a statement on Ranil Wickremesinghe’s appointment as PM, the BASL stresses that:
1.RW must show his ability to establish consensus amongst parties in Parliament at the earliest;
2. Govt must act transparently and give a clear timeline for proposed constitutional amendments.
